Job Highlights
• Global Key Account Responsible for his/her own nominated Global and growing account with an extremely diversified product portfolio.
• Develop, introduce and execute Regional and Global strategy plans in order to ensure profitable and sustainable growth of the accounts under their direct responsibility.
• Ensure strategies are disseminated in a structured, consistent, sustainable and aligned manner through the strategic engagement of the budget responsible LANXESS sales managers sitting in the 3 main global territories.
• Coordinate and work together with a team of sales manager across the various regions (21), in supporting the GA under their responsibility.
• Develop Board & Senior Executive level relationships within the Global Account under their responsibility, and as appropriate strategically leverage on the support of senior Business Unit Lubricant Additives Business (BU LAB) management e.g. BU Head, Global Head of Sales and/or Regional Sales Heads.
• Co-ordinate and conduct complex and strategic Global pricing negotiations to the benefit of LANXESS.
• Proactively engage with LANXESS Product Management to ensure full alignment of short and mid-term sales strategy in line with product initiatives, product introductions, product withdrawals and material length and/or constraints to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to market.
• Proactively engage and contribute to ongoing Supply and Operational Planning (S&OP) through the IBP monthly meetings.
• To ensure a proactive approach to cost management, forecasting, overdue control, incoterm alignment etc..
• Regional/local Account Responsible (ca. 10) for which the incumbent is accountable for the business directly attributable to him/her (Top line & Variable margin). He/she is responsible for preparing local account plans and in the identification of Focus projects to deliver profitable and sustainable growth for BU LAB.
Requirements
• Education requirement: Degree Educated (Commercial or technical)
• At least 10 years sales experience. Previous experience managing a global account provides a distinct advantage.
• Experience in Lubricant Additives or Specialty chemicals is required
• Leadership & Project Management experience
• International and cultural experience (advanced practical experience of managing & leveraging on cultural diversity)
• Communication & negotiation skills with large and global account
• Structured and organized working approach
• Used to working with multi diverse teams
• Fluent in German and English (CV in English please)Contract type: Regular
