What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary contact for customs compliance within the Business Unit, including management of customs brokers and country of origin determinations
- Implement trade operations and provide compliance oversight to ensure adherence to import/export laws and regulations
- Maintain reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop trade-related solutions and strategies
- Partner with governance teams to conduct audits and administer trade compliance training
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, law, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in global trade compliance with significant import and customs experience
- Functional knowledge of import/export regulations and customs practices
- Proven ability to work with various business groups including supply chain, legal, and finance
- Strong organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience supporting trade functions within an industrial, communications, or transportation business
- Customs Broker License or other Customs/Trade certification
- Experience in fostering teamwork and maintaining internal and external relationships
