      The Business Performance Lead partners with leaders across assigned business units to identify and implement processes and activities to optimize business performance.

      Identifies and implements metrics to drive business performance and quality, using operational and financial data to support and drive decision making across the assigned business unit.

      Provides enterprise and operational knowledge and insights to help shape strategies for successful execution of the overall business operation.

      Responsibilities:

      • Supports leaders with business performance and operational optimization for assigned IQVIA Biotech Business Units
      • Analyzes financial and operational data to assess performance, develop strategies and consult leaders with key decisions
      • Partners with Finance to analyze and report performance against annual financial and growth targets including but not limited to:
        • Revenue Recognition
        • Out of Scope and Change Order Management
        • Timesheet Compliance
        • Margin Analysis
        • Backlog Forecast Accuracy
        • Accounts Receivable
        • Utilization
        • Span of Control
        • Labor Costs
      • Works with Business Unit Heads to identify and implement lean processes to optimize business performance
      • Identifies and implements metrics to drive business performance and quality
      • Provide enterprise and operational knowledge and insights to help shape strategies for successful execution of the overall business operation
      • Shares best practices and provides refresher training for Estimate-At-Completion (EAC), Change Orders, Revenue Acceleration, Financial Reporting Systems and more
      • Coordinates Monthly Functional Review Meetings and ensures follow up of actions
      • Supports monthly EAC review activities: Phasing Review, Revenue Acceleration Opportunities, WD3/4/5 variance review meetings, W6/7 Actions/Follow-Up


      Qualifications and Experience Required:

      • BS/BA (or equivalent) with 5 or more years of CRO experience
      • Knowledge and experience in financial management of project-based business (in CRO)
      • Knowledge and comfort reporting systems and information retrieval
      • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Excel including extensive use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP
      • Experience in MS Office software (Word, Access, PowerPoint)
      • Ability to analyze and organize work efficiently with minimal supervision
      • Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple projects simultaneously
      • Excellent and demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to network and work cooperatively with all levels of staff at IQVIA Biotech and IQVIA
      • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) internally and externally
      • Demonstrated problem-solving and financial negotiation skills
      • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and participate in Senior Leadership discussions

      The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $117,200.00 - $175,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
