      Summary:

      Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.

      Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.

      Responsibilities:

      Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

      Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor.

      Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:

      May still be acquiring knowledge and skills in own area and higher level skills

      Works with direct supervision/ guidance; accountable for individual results and impact on team. Expanding knowledge and skills. Applies knowledge/skills to complete a variety of day-to-day activities within own area. Responds to customer needs; seeks guidance on issues outside own area. Solves problems using standard procedures. May still be learning to prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines. Works with others to achieve team goals.
