      About the Role

      We are seeking a hands-on, service-focused IT Help Desk Intern to join our Distribution Center technology team in Olathe, Kansas. This full-time, on-site internship is ideal for students looking to gain practical experience in IT support within a fast-paced warehouse and office setting.

      You will support a variety of end-user technologies, troubleshoot desktop issues, and learn the fundamentals of IT operations alongside seasoned professionals.



      Key Responsibilities

      • Serve as a first point of contact for technical support needs from Distribution Center staff.
      • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 11 laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners.
      • Assist with hardware deployment, imaging, and device lifecycle tasks.
      • Provide basic support for Office 365, Active Directory accounts, and network connectivity.
      • Track and document all support requests using a ticketing system.
      • Help maintain the IT asset inventory system and assist with license tracking.
      • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff and follow up with users as needed.
      • Document support processes and contribute to a knowledge base.
      • Ensure smooth onboarding of new users with workstation setup and access provisioning.

      • Local to the Olathe, Kansas area.
      • Actively enrolled in a 4-year degree program, preferably in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or a related field.
      • Open-minded, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and practices.
      • Comfortable with hands-on work in both office and warehouse environments.
      • Strong in communication and time management skills.

      Basic Qualifications

      • Some experience or coursework in IT, networking, or computer systems.
      • Familiarity with Windows 11 , Microsoft Office, and basic PC troubleshooting.
      • Strong desire to grow technical skills in a professional setting.
      • Willingness to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs).
      • Available to work full-time on-site during the internship period.

      Work Environment

      • 100% On-Site at Excelligence's Distribution Center in Olathe, Kansas.
      • Standard business hours; may include occasional flexibility.
      • Warehouse and office setting; blend of desk and hands-on work.
