What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and submit clean claims to assigned insurance companies in a timely manner
- Bill all charges daily and ensure accurate submission and collection of claims
- Verify that services and products are correctly authorized and maintain required documentation
- Follow up on unpaid claims and prepare appeals or corrected claims as needed
- Maintain strong relationships with payers to ensure accurate claims and reimbursement

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of medical billing experience
- Prior experience in home infusion billing
- Strong knowledge of government insurance plans, managed care plans, and patient billing
- Proficiency in CPR+ or CareTend systems is highly desirable
- Ability to work full-time from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) is a significant advantage
- Familiarity with infusion billing for medical and commercial Medicaid payers
- Experience with CareTend Infusion Pharmacy software for billing
- Understanding of how to convert vials into units per payer fee schedules
- Professional demeanor for interaction with clients and insurance companies
