      Position Summary
      The Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant provides administrative support by performing administrative tasks and services in support of the HR Team and the effective and efficient operations of the HR Department. Under the Director of Human Resources and Payroll’s direct supervision, the HR Administrative Assistant will perform various administrative tasks and projects, acting as the liaison between the HR team and the employees to ensure operational effectiveness and provide exceptional customer service.       Key Accountabilities

      • Utilizes the HRIS, and maintains HR files, including creating new hire files and maintaining personnel files, including I-9s, to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
      • Performs periodic audits of HR and benefit files and records to ensure all required documents are collected and filed appropriately in the HRIS system.
      • Updates the HRIS system and HR intranet pages, including updating the HR calendar, news, and announcements, and generation of ad hoc reports, as needed.
      • Supports the HR Department's goals and objectives by creating, managing, and maintaining business intelligence reporting.
      • Monitors the shared HR email accounts and routing correspondence as appropriate.
      • Assists employees with questions regarding HR issues, the HRIS system, policies, and procedures and escalates as needed.
      • Assists the HR Specialist in the recruitment process; coordination of calendars for interviews, capture of applicant data in the appropriate recruitment folder in alignment with the organizational Affirmative Action plan.
      • Supports the Payroll and Benefits team administratively as needed and during annual events, including but not limited to open enrollment.
      • Performs various administrative duties and assists with day-to-day operations in the HR department.
      • Coordinates efforts between Payroll, Human Resources, and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
      • Complies with all the Company's Safety and Environmental policies, practices, and programs. Takes corrective action within training limitations. Escalates as necessary.
      • Participates in and adheres to all training programs designed to enhance HSE knowledge, safety standards, and improve job performance.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Education, Certificates

      • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.

      Experience

      • Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience preferably within an HR department.
      • Working experience in UKG preferred.
      • Oil and Gas industry experience a plus.

      Required

      • Microsoft Office software skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
      • Proficient in the use of HRIS system applications. Able to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information, records, and reports
      • Ability to meet and exceed the required deadlines.

      Desired

      • General knowledge of HR, benefits, and payroll.
      • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Experience in the oil and gas industry.

      Work Environment

      • Primarily office work environment.
      • Routine work involves common office activities during a typical 9-hour day, such as standing, sitting, walking, typing, and twisting as necessary.
      • May be required to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

      Compensation and Benefits

      The pay range for this position in California is between $20 to $23.75 an hour. This position is eligible for short-term cash incentive bonus, excellent benefits including full health benefits, 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, tuition reimbursement and paid time off.
