- Understand client group business strategy and offer fit for purpose HR solutions to its people roadmap
- Actively manage the client relationship to ensure people needs are prioritised and addressed
- Lead and co-ordinate key HR programmes for the client group, providing support to leaders for effective and efficient use to get the best from their people and teams
- Consult and coach line managers with a solution-based approach to support the business delivery ensuring mitigation of employment risk
- Facilitate communications between client group and the wider HR Team, providing seamless delivery
- Support talent management and talent acquisition plans to ensure that the organisation has the right resources and capability to deliver business results
- Work closely with supply chain management, ensuring appropriate people related activities are aligned and measureable
- Ensure alignment of HR actions, policies and procedures across the HR Business Partnering team to ensure a consistent approach across clients group, providing fair and equitable treatment.
- Lead and/or support HR related projects, as required
- Advocate and lead change through improvement initiatives within the HR team and client groups
- Motivated to make a difference as part of a high performing team
- Experience working within a fast-paced human resources environment
- Experience with best practice human resources tools and processes
- Self-starter, ability to coach and influence others
- Delivers with a customer focused mind-set and a sense of urgency
- CIPD qualified or equivalent
Annan House Staff Reporting directly to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner is responsible for partnering directly with their business groups to provide strategic and operational advice to ensure the business goals are achieved through people. Working collaboratively with other HR Business Partners, the team will drive to deliver a consistent approach to HR processes.
• Consult and coach line managers on strategic HR providing insights, strategy and solutions to support the client group
• Identify opportunities for HR efficiencies and excellence
• Turn opportunities into strategy and effective solutions by working with the subject matter experts within the wider HR Team
• Deliver and embed customer focused solutions in collaboration with wider HR Team
• Lead others through coaching business leaders on options and strategy available to them
• Deliver value and performance within client groups and share best practice throughout the HR Team
• Provide HR support in Emergency Response incidents, as requiredPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
