      We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to be a key strategic partner for leadership and a valuable resource for employees. Whether through engagement, performance management, or providing the guidance to leaders and employees that they need to be successful, you will be a knowledgeable and committed resource.

      As an HRBP, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leadership for the areas you support. You’ll directly impact how employees experience organizational change, and you’ll use information and close partnership with leaders to build the teams that achieve their specific business goals. You will leverage partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees. Additionally, you will maintain an effective level of business literacy about your aligned function’s financials, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.

      How you can make an impact:

      • Be an influential partner to the business with accountability in driving people agenda in partnership with senior leaders

      • Lead, influence, and support effective organizational changes and communication plan in delivery of strategic business objectives

      • Consult with the business by understanding how to align and integrate people with business needs through organization design and talent development.

      • Act as a coach, trusted partner and confidant who understands when and how to share information in the best interests of people and the business.

      • Assess and develop talent.

      • Collaborate seamlessly with HR COE’s to lead the communication and implementation of the HR cyclical processes including Talent Planning, Annual Pay Process, Performance Review Process, and Annual Team Survey.

      • Analyze trends and metrics to develop talent solutions, programs and policies.

      • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Collaborate with ER investigator as needed.

      • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.

      • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to front line leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

      • Work closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

      About you:

      • 6+ years of experience in human resources role partnering with senior leaders to drive high engaging & performing teams and lead change

      • Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills

      • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and using data to influence decisions

      • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to relate messages to all levels of the organization

      • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred

      Nice to Have

      SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential

      Work Arrangement:

      Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis.
