      We are looking for a professional and high energy Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic human resources support to corporate and operations client groups based in Dieppe, NB. This role will oversee the delivery of workforce planning, career planning, employee relations, development and coaching, performance management, compensation, and organization design to the assigned client groups. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the successful candidate will foster a positive employee experience and engagement that advances Midland’s values and strategic objectives.

      Qualifications

      • You have a post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employee/Labour Relations, or related discipline
      • You have 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a human resources, employee relations and/or recruitment role
      • You have a professional demeanor and understand that confidentiality is a must
      • You have empathy and openness, strong listening skills, responsiveness, are solutions focused, and are results driven
      • You have a strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills
      • You have the ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on such analysis
      • You have excellent computer skills and proficient knowledge of MS Office
      • Bilingualism (English & French) is considered an asset

      Responsibilities

      • Partner with leaders in assigned client groups to provide innovative people solutions, programs, and practices in support of Midland’s values and strategic direction
      • Oversee the annual performance management and talent review processes within client group by identifying key talent, readiness, and retention risks as well as facilitating succession planning and career-pathing conversations
      • Collaborate with the HR Team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results
      • Provide expertise and hands-on support in a broad range of HR functions:
        • Workforce Planning
        • Compensation
        • Training and development
        • Diversity and Inclusion
        • Health and wellness
        • Workplace investigations
      • Act as a role model and guide people leaders and their team members on the delivery of our HR programs
      • Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance to people leaders and support them with their professional growth and development, as well as the growth and development of their team members
      • Assist people leaders with onboarding of successful candidates
      • Communicate and support implementation of corporate initiatives to assigned client groups.
      • Partner with Talent Acquisition Team to ensure talent acquisition strategies are developed, implemented and effective at maintaining employees
