      Position Summary

      Orlando Health is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for their ambulatory division who will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships that are integral to the success of the business and to the support and achievement of goals and objectives from the Human Resources perspective supporting the Ambulatory Services across the organization.

      Responsibilities

      Essential Functions
      • Partners with operations and human resources in developing and executing strategy and innovation.
      • Synthesizes complex and diverse information to determine HR impact of business issues.
      • Counsels and influences business leaders in complex Human Resources issues.
      • Conducts employee relations investigations; manages dispute resolution process.
      • Coaches leaders of business functions to be more competitive and productive.
      • Facilitates talent management discussions and implements robust people strategies in furtherance of the business.
      • Demonstrates initiative in decision making and process improvement.
      • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations to include Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations concerning employment.
      • Maintains Internal Legal Compliance
      • Ensures consistent policy interpretation and education.
      • Supports Corporate Director, HR in implementation of Workforce Strategy initiatives.
      • Implements and delivers training and development programs at all levels throughout the organization utilizing adult learning theories.
      • Implements HR initiatives and measures results.
      • Develops applicable HR Staff to increase skill level and encourage growth for future opportunities.
      • Conducts HR data analysis for customers.
      • Partners with corporate HR departments on performance improvement initiatives and projects.
      • Consistently documents interactions in the HR Case Management System.
      • Initiates dialogue at a higher level when necessary.
      • Closes gaps in knowledge when identified in operational area.
      • May manage the day-to-day activities and staff as assigned.
      • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
      • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

      Qualifications

      Education/Training
      Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.


      Experience
      Five (5) years of progressively responsible human resources experience to include knowledge of two or more human resource functions.
