      Role Details

      The HRBP will develop and implement HR strategies and provide professional HR guidance, advice and support to internal client groups with the objective of adding value and ensuring compliance with policy and legislation in Australia, New Zealand and across Asia.

      A key component of the role will be partnering with the business to attract, recruit, engage and develop world class talent. The HRBP will be required to work alongside hiring managers at all levels and provide the expertise they need to advertise and implement best practise selection techniques to recruit top talent.

      An advanced knowledge of contemporary talent management processes, including critical roles analysis and HiPo identification is required.

      The incumbent will also focus on the people side of change – including embedding new people initiatives, reviewing our organisation effectiveness, and supporting senior leaders to develop our employee engagement in line with our People and Communications strategy.

      Your Key Accountabilities

      • Partner with global HR colleagues in the development and implementation of global HR processes and key initiatives
      • Contribute to the business strategy by partnering with business leaders to identify, prioritise and build organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes.
      • Own the end to end recruitment process in your business areas, supporting managers to recruit in line with best practise.
      • Assist line managers with key people processes including recruitment, coaching and employee counselling, performance management, exit interviews, assist in grievance management, disciplinary action and terminations, and provide support on policy interpretation.
      • Support leadership development and people skills based training, based on 70:20:10 model.
      • Collaborate with managers to identify training and development needs and plans, advise on development options to meet performance standards, and challenge and support the management of underperformance.
      • Ensure effective organisational design is in place for the business area and support any restructuring and change management activities that are required to ensure fit for purpose and cost effective.
      • Ensure effective communication and engagement strategies and practices are in place and are fit for purpose.
      • Manage and resolve complex Employee Relations issues.
      • Create actionable deliverables for the core change management levers: communications plans and complex project management.
      • Ensure people related initiatives align to the overall Accolade Wines Vision, Behaviours and Priorities
      • Develop and coach the HR Advisor to deliver their KPIs and gain core HR skill.

      Essential Qualifications

      • Bachelors degree educated, ideally in a related field.
      • Previous experience as a HR generalist (minimum 5 years) with strong focus on talent development/recruitment, ideally in a fast paced FMCG environment
      • Understanding and experience of all common HR processes and legislation
      • Experience in providing expert Employee Relations advice
      • Experience in interfacing with senior business and functional managers, as well as executive management.
      • Sound working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment legislation
      • Sound working knowledge of talent identification and development concepts.
      • Ideally, experience working within EAs
      • Ideally, HR experience working in or having provided HR advice to Asian markets
      • High attention to detail and accuracy in all activities
      • Strong analytical skills

      Physical and Other Requirements

      • Travel required within Australia and to Asia as and when required
      • Some out of hours conference calls
