      Position Summary

      The Associate Human Resources Business Partner will work closely with and assist the HR Business Partners to support the team members and managers within the business unit. Will help the teams and leaders to meet the business unit and organizational goals which include team member onboarding, employee relations, policy implementation and interpretation, performance management, and recognition programs.

      Position Description

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Together with the HRBP, acts as a single point contact of HR aspects for the team member and managers in the business unit

      • Supports HRBP on the delivery of HR processes and the implementation of HR programs including recruitment, learning & development activities

      • Ensures the smooth execution of the onboarding process

      • Supports HRBP in managing performance plans and performance management process

      • Helps to manage employee relations, employee’s grievance, and disciplines in basic to low-complex context

      • Works closely with HRBP to develop and implement solutions to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

      • Works with HRBP to provide initiatives and improvements for current and new HR/company’s policies, processes, and programs

      • Reports on assigned tasks and provides timely and periodic reports/statistics within the scope of work

      • Supports organizational development initiatives such as engagement survey, development, succession planning and organizational change

      • Work on special projects as assigned

      • Able to travel up to 25%

      Qualifications

      Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR support role. Previous multi-unit Human Resources experience in retail a plus. High level of initiative and ability to quickly identify and resolve issues. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

      Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Word and Excel. Experience working within an HRIS system is a plus.

      Certificates and Licenses: HR Certification is a plus

      Position Hiring Range

      The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

      Compensation: -

      Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.
