      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Administer and interpret collective bargaining agreements and civil service rules for assigned facilities
      - Represent the department in all forums associated with the grievance process
      - Provide labor relations support and guidance to the Department of Corrections
      - Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
      - Conduct training and orientation for new hires and existing staff

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
      - Four years of professional experience equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst, including two years equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst 12
      - Experience in interpreting collective bargaining agreements and civil service rules
      - Knowledge of labor relations practices and procedures
      - Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working in a Human Resources capacity within a government or corrections environment
      - Familiarity with the AFSCME Agreement and other labor contracts
      - Previous experience in a grievance process or dispute resolution
      - Strong analytical skills and experience in report writing
      - Military service or experience working with veteran employees
