- Provide support for HR projects and tasks for training, talent acquisition, onboarding, organizational development, wellness, and employee engagement activities
- Coordinate interview schedules and travel arrangements
- Have responsibility for coordinating training
- Set up courses and learning plans in the Global Learning Center learning management system
- Schedule Emerson-led workshop
- Coordinate meeting logistics to include material needs, room set-up, catering, etc.
- Administer the corporate housing program for the Business Unit to include lease administration, invoicing, and housing arrangements for co-ops/interns, new hires, and international assignees and visitors
- Maintain the HR team travel schedule
- Operate the company's main switchboard
- Serve as initial point of contact for guests and visitors and complete appropriate registration for all
- Handle emergency communication as needed
- Maintain electronic database information regarding employee and Emerson Impact Partner phone numbers and locations
- Coordinate consistent coverage of front desk and training of back-ups
- Schedule conference rooms for company communication meetings
- Support communication of company sponsored and community involvement events
- High School diploma
- 2 years administrative experience
- Solid computer skills, including experience with all Microsoft Office applications
- Effective communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- High level of ethics and integrity.
- Must be able to handle confidential information
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with speed and accuracy
- Ease in dealing with different levels and functions of the organization
- High level of professionalism and dependability
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position
- Associate degree
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP)
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and web delivery tools
- Experience operating a multi-line phone/switchboard

Located in our Marshalltown, IA main office this position assists with the coordination of Human Resources activities and greeting visitors at the front desk for the Flow Controls organization.
