- Sourcing, interviewing and informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits, and duties.
- Conducting new employee orientations and periodic check-ins with new hires.
- Keeping track of process paperwork, policy acknowledgements and accurate employment records.
- Conducting Exit Interviews and retention analysis
- Employee engagement initiatives and surveys
- Leave of Absence monitoring and tracking
- Workers Compensation reporting, files, and vendor/carrier communication
- HRIS/Employee Action related changes and forms
- Respond timely to information requests, employment verifications and legal inquiries.
- Run monthly reports and compile data as
- Point of Contact for employees and managers on HR related questions, concerns. Escalating to the HR Manager when appropriate
- Other duties as assigned.
- Good written, organizational, communication and people skills
- Organized with process improvement mindset.
- Answer phone and/or return employee messages.
- Multi-tasking capabilities and the ability to work independently with initiatives are required.
- Ability to adapt and shift priorities quickly.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and uphold confidentiality at all times.
- Experience with utilizing Microsoft Teams and best practices for collaboration
- Proficient in excel and data analysis tools.
- ADP and ATS familiarity preferred.
- Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related program preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered absent degree.
- Minimum of 1-3 years in Human Resources related field required. Experience in Talent & Acquisition a plus

Essex Brownell is seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR Team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the HR Manager, assist with interviewing and recruiting candidates to fill open roles, and provide assistance to managers and employees regularly.
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
HR Coordinator main duties include providing administrative support to the HR Manager, assistance with recruiting and interviewing candidates to fill open roles and provide assistance to managers and employees regularly.
An HR Coordinator may also assist with administering benefits, processing payroll requests, and managing any problems or questions. The position also has an active role in ensuring all human resource functions are complying with local, state, and federal regulations.
