Job Description

- Manages onboarding program; new hires should have consistent experience; onboarding program should expand to new hire’s first year and include training for stakeholders.
- Creates and manages programs for employee retention, career development, recognition, and engagement.
- Serve s as the point of contact and uses a consultative and coaching approach for addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and HR-related matters.
- Develop s and implement s initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Manages performance management system including goal setting, feedback, evaluations, and development plans.
- Work s with managers to address performance issues and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Acts as an experienced resource on employee benefits plan administration.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommends changes to HR policies and practices accordingly.
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 6+ years of experience in human resources; AEC industry preferred.
- 2+ years of HR Management experience required.
- Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to address issues proactively and constructively.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze material and make recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and is organized.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite; HRIS and ATS experience preferred.

About the Role
The Human Resources Manager plays a critical role in overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within our firm. We are seeking a candidate who has the proven ability to interface with and influence employees and managers of all levels to ensure compliance standards are upheld.
You are a skilled and detail-oriented project manager with strong organizational skills and a passion to utilize technology. You are ready to learn, work in teams and on your own, and take on new challenges. You will work with an open-minded, committed, and passionate team.
