What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for human resources services, providing exceptional customer service
- Ensure fair and consistent application of human resources policies and practices in staffing, classification, and compensation
- Maintain HRIS data and provide consultation in employee relations
- Provide expert guidance in recruitment, selection, policy interpretation, and employment relations
- Develop and interpret policies and procedures, and provide training and consultation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four (4) years of professional experience in recruitment or staffing activities, or relevant industry certification plus two (2) years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, behavioral sciences, business, or a related field plus professional level recruitment experience
- Experience using database systems and reporting tools, including HRIS, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
- Experience in a professional environment with a focus on recruitment or staffing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as a subject matter expert (SME) in recruiting, staffing, and retention policies
- Recruitment/staffing experience in the public sector (Municipal, County, State, Federal, or Higher Education)
- User-level experience with software such as PeopleSoft, SharePoint, or Microsoft Access
- Experience applying an equity and inclusion lens in recruitment and staffing processes
