What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop new accounts and drive sales in key territories through cold calling and email outreach
- Manage a sales cycle, articulating solutions and closing sales opportunities
- Make a minimum of 25 outbound calls and 25 emails daily, utilizing Salesforce for tracking
- Collaborate with Marketing on outbound sales and email campaigns
- Maintain a full understanding of initiatives and opportunities in the assigned territory
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or a related field, or 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, preferably in a SaaS offering
- Experience selling solutions into the K-12 education market is highly preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a focus on customer success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Teaching, school administrator, SaaS, PaaS, or software sales experience
- Experience in an open sales office environment
- Strong analytical skills and creativity to develop solutions for complex situations
- Familiarity with NetSuite is helpful but not required
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
