What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify new patient accounts and review insurance benefits for accuracy
- Utilize payor portals to establish and communicate patients' benefits
- Test the accuracy of patient benefit information and complete daily action item requirements
- Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures
- Handle patient payment information securely and report any compliance concerns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis and navigating EMR systems in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to be a self-starter
