      Job Title: Inventory Manager

      We are seeking a General Manager to join our amazing Atlantic Tire Distributors team in Ridgeville, SC!       Job Summary: The Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy within the warehouse by leading physical inventory counts, performing cycle counts, and operating material handling equipment. This individual will also be responsible for reconciling inventory discrepancies, issuing customer credits, handling returns and damaged products, and assisting with order picking and loading.

      Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

      • Conduct thorough research on the history of physical and systemic goods within the warehouse.
      • Oversee the annual physical inventory and lead a team to ensure accurate counts.
      • Safely operate motorized material handling equipment to transport products.
      • Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
      • Collaborate with other personnel to support and enhance inventory accuracy.
      • Generate and analyze daily variance reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.
      • Reconcile inventory discrepancies through detailed investigation and research.
      • Issue credits to customers and manage the return product process.
      • Efficiently handle and remove damaged products from the warehouse.
      • Oversee order picking operations and assist with truck loading.
      • Maintain a clean and organized environment.
      • Provide additional support as needed, undertaking various tasks and projects.

      Qualifications:

      • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management or related field
      • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems
      • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
      • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
      • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
      • Strong analytical skills for interpreting variance reports and inventory data
      • Strong leadership and team management skills
      • Ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members
      • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
      • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

      Education:

      • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
