      Essential Job Functions:

      a. Help the IT department develop plans for and oversees the installation, upgrade & maintenance of software and hardware for technology

      b. Help the IT department implement effective project management methodology for all technology related projects

      c. Ensure the timely set up of technology systems for new employees, establishing systems to ensure that new employees receive timely and effective training

      d. Provide backup for the System Administrator when applicable to the IT Team Members, including mentoring and coaching in a positive and respectful manner

      e. Attend and serve as a contributing member to required committee meetings as assigned

      f. Develop and conduct ongoing technology training for end users

      g. Ensure that “HELP” ticket requests are resolved in a timely manner effectively balancing end user requirements and business needs using the internal ticketing portal.

      h. Assist with the functioning of the business application systems, ensuring that upgrades and new features are explored and provide assistance with training of staff on these new features with consideration for operational requirements

      i. Collaborate with management in developing and improving end user training and functionality for business programs

      j. Serve as the assistant liaison with technology vendors, learning to evaluate contracts and make recommendations for vendor selection and termination

      k. Assist with creating and implementing Information Technology policies and procedures, ensuring effectiveness and regulatory compliance as needed

      l. Adhere to confidentiality laws including HIPAA and HITECH as well as all Avante policies and procedures including Code of Ethics

      m. Annually, assist with making recommendations for the acquisition of technology equipment to further operational efficiencies in alignment with budgetary parameters

      n. Assist System Administrator with developing annual departmental goals to support strategic business objectives

      o. Rebuilding/Repairing PC’s, Laptops and other devices

      p. Assist employees on MDM configuration.

      q. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook).

      r. Perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under pressure of time sensitive deadlines.

      s. Must have ability to work with all levels of management as well as front-line

      t. Must protect confidentiality of information.

      u. Must be willing and able to travel (between facilities as required within Florida (central/north)).

      What We Are Looking for:

      • Three to five years of progressive responsibilities in Information Technology

      • Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal formats

      • Ability to frequently stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate equipment.

      • Must be able to routinely lift and place 30 pounds.

      • Must have valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record if driving Avante vehicle or driving for Avante business.

      • Any combination of experience and training that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.

      Education and Experience:

      · 1– 2 years help desk experience

      · MCP, A+, Network+ preferred

      · High School or equivalent, college or university degree preferred.
