- Serve as the first point of contact for internal users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for various devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Document and track user issues and solutions in a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up equipment and providing initial training on software and systems.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and ensure proper follow-through.
- Provide training and support for standard software applications and tools.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and assist with ordering and managing supplies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in IT support.
- Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of operating systems and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, email clients).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical users.
- Strong focus on providing exceptional support and building positive relationships with end-users.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Work effectively within a team, collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex issues.
- Meticulous documentation of issues and solutions to enhance the knowledge base and improve support processes.
- Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to function in a work environment with moderate noise level from several sources creating constant activity.

- Ability to maintain an ergonomic workstation, including adjusting chair height, monitor position, and keyboard/mouse placement to promote proper posture and reduce strain.
