- Sales collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team (Regional Sales Manager and Territory Sales Manager) and develop and nurture a national database of key accounts, including endocrinologists, diabetes nurse educators, and key advocates.
- Event Strategy: Design and execute brand strategies and a nationwide field event strategy. Support regional event strategies and improve execution in collaboration with marketing.
- Account Management: Lead projects at every center required to grow sales and relationships with a strong emphasis on diabetes care. Set quarterly sales touch points with each region to ensure consistent engagement and growth.
- Administrative Support: Serve as a key speaking partner for legal, event management, and regional responsibilities. Improve invitation and communication processes in collaboration with marketing.
- Use professional concepts and knowledge of company objectives to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.
- Develop a proficiency in the company's business to inform decisions.
- Receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
- Provide guidance to team members using established company policies.
- Frequently interact with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers.
- Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.
- Follow processes and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization.
- You must have strong sales background required, familiarity with the Japanese hospital system, national territory experience preferred, passion for diabetes or healthcare impact.
- You must have proven ability to penetrate new accounts and establish relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and hospitals in Osaka and Tokyo.
- You must have proficiency in Japanese in order to liaise with Japan HCPs.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of industry experience.
- 5 years of sales experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical company.

As a Key Account Manager, you will manage the sales of the company's medical devices, focusing on key accounts within the hospital and clinic settings in Japan, particularly in Osaka and Tokyo. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve prescription behavior and patient growth through impactful field events.
