What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute account-level business plans for assigned Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs)
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts
- Identify and execute contracting opportunities with assigned accounts
- Collect competitive intelligence and manage contract performance in line with policy
- Provide timely market feedback to corporate management on trends and industry issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of national/regional/key account management experience
- Minimum of 6 years of successful prior experience in the hospital-based pharmaceutical industry
- IDN account management experience required
- Proven success in new product and line extension launches with IDNs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Generic injectable experience preferred
- Contracting experience with IDNs preferred
- Experience with inpatient pharmacy decision makers
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external relationships
- Strong analytical skills to highlight trends and assist in shaping strategy
