What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the Microsoft Outlook calendar for the vice president and coordinate department head meetings
- Prepare presentations and operate necessary equipment for events
- Handle communications, including drafting letters and processing check requests
- Organize and manage logistics for assigned events and projects
- Track and complete projects with minimal supervision from inception to completion
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and at least five years of administrative experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Microsoft Project and Access
- Previous administrative assistant experience within a nonprofit or similar environment
- Familiarity with donor relations or fundraising activities
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Previous accounting experience
