What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare test materials such as manuals, reports, brochures, and other documents for various publication formats using Adobe Creative Suite
- Remediate PDFs for 508 compliance, ensuring proper tagging and accessibility features
- Consult with resource groups on project conceptualization and design
- Organize and manage work to complete projects efficiently
- Apply critical decision-making skills to prioritize tasks and meet client requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Minimum of five years of related work experience
- Three years of experience with Section 508 compliance (PDF remediation)
- Four years of experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Professional
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with font management systems
- Familiarity with CommonLook software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly to team members and project management
- Ability to manage multiple job functions simultaneously
- Experience working with diverse work groups
