What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor security events to protect the employer's enterprise and information systems
- Provide guidance and training to SOC analysts and report to management on incident handling
- Direct multiple incident-based activities and participate in complex technical functions
- Create actionable threat intelligence to influence changes to the information security posture
- Recommend and implement changes to the Intelligence and Incident Response program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an analyst, preferably from a Security Operation Center (SOC)
- Proven experience leading incident response efforts during high-level cyber threats
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM/SOAR platforms
- Expert understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP fundamentals, and operating systems
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred; Multiple GIAC certifications required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with multi-cloud technologies such as Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS
- Ability to present complex security topics clearly to decision-makers and stakeholders
- Proven experience in identifying anomalous patterns and security exploitation trends
