What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and oversee the work of up to 3 paralegals and 1 lead legal assistant
- Draft legal documents such as letters, reports, pleadings, and motions
- Conduct client interviews and gather relevant facts and information
- Manage discovery requests and responses to ensure efficient case progression
- Monitor client communications to ensure timely responses and case management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of experience working as a paralegal for a family law firm
- Strong digital skills, including knowledge of Clio, GoTo Meeting, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, and Google platforms
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience conducting research and discovery
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certification
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Recent experience in the state of Washington, particularly in the Superior Courts of King County, Pierce County, Thurston County, or Snohomish County
- Good people skills to foster effective teamwork and client relationships
