What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead procurement sourcing events for medium to high criticality materials, equipment, and subcontracts
- Manage contract life-cycle administration and compliance, establishing core contract management processes
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Conduct bidder conferences and provide negotiation support to resolve issues
- Mentor and oversee junior procurement staff while managing a fast-paced work environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5-7 years of related experience in procurement or a similar field
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to create document templates
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in lieu of a degree
- Prior experience in large industrial construction procurement
- Experience interfacing with client and engineering entities
- Familiarity with digital document approval platforms like DocuSign and Adobe Sign
- Experience in multiple industrial market sectors
