What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead multi-discipline projects from pre-construction through commissioning, turnover, and closeout
- Manage client relationships and expectations; provide timely progress and cost updates
- Own scope, schedule, budget, and performance metrics; manage change orders and assess impacts
- Monitor construction and commissioning progress, quality, and safety; ensure compliance with documentation
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution, plus relevant construction experience
- 15+ years in the construction industry with progressive leadership; at least 5 years managing multiple projects
- Nuclear project experience and familiarity with EPC and general contractor contract models
- Proven supervision of construction teams and strong client relationship-building skills
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification; proficiency with Microsoft Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Hands-on experience with project controls (cost, schedule, change, risk) on large construction projects
- Knowledge of quality, safety, and health requirements for large industrial construction sites
- Workforce planning experience, including staffing plans and interviewing/selection
- Understanding of process-based project management and start-up testing
