What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the development and execution of scientific communication strategies in alignment with global business goals and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with research teams and external experts to create high-quality scientific manuscripts and presentations
- Develop scientific content for global congresses and publications, ensuring compliance and audience engagement
- Provide oversight on the review and approval of scientific materials to ensure regulatory compliance
- Track competitor publications and develop intelligence reports to inform internal teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 8+ years of experience in scientific communications, medical affairs, or related fields within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Sciences, or a related field
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, estimated 25% travel
- Expertise in managing large, complex projects and cross-functional dependencies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create compelling narratives from complex data
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PhD or other recognized doctorate-level education with a health science background
- Experience in the medical device industry or cardiovascular/endovascular field is a plus
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- Advanced proficiency in scientific software tools and data visualization software
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying and solving strategic communication challenges
