Research, interpret, and apply laws and regulations related to various taxes and telecom regulatory fees.
Provide tax advice and recommendations to support AT&T’s business initiatives and internal clients.
Stay current with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and identify opportunities.
Develop, execute, and manage complex tax planning projects to optimize AT&T’s tax position.
Build and lead cross-functional teams to drive tax-related initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
Conduct in-depth data analysis using Excel or similar tools to identify trends, support tax planning strategies, and validate outcomes.
Compile and analyze data to prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Partner with internal teams and external advisors to ensure alignment on tax strategies and compliance requirements.
Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business, or a related field preferred.
Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, JD, or equivalent) is a plus.
Proven experience in tax research, planning, and compliance, preferably in telecommunications or a related industry.
Strong background in managing complex tax projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced data analysis techniques.
Familiarity with tax research tools and software.
Ability to effectively convey complex tax concepts.
