What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative support to the Learning & Development Analyst, including researching training programs and gathering data
- Schedule and set up training sessions, ensuring all logistics are handled effectively
- Manage the learning management system to upload, assign, track, and report on training progress
- Assist in creating feedback and evaluations for training programs to enhance learning experiences
- Support compliance initiatives by ensuring employees receive necessary training and skills development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in Business or Public Administration, Training and Development, Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, or a related field AND one (1) year of increasingly responsible administrative support or training experience; OR three (3) years of such experience
- Valid driver's license in the State of Oregon with an acceptable driving record
- Experience with learning management systems, such as Workday
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Knowledge of additional learning management systems beyond Workday
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Background in operational training programs
- Familiarity with developing training materials in a public sector environment
