What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with lease-up activities and maintain relationships with other departments for timely completion of work products
- Update and prepare required forms and leases for new resident interviews
- Conduct credit and criminal background checks during lease-ups
- Input new applications into Yardi and keep the waitlist updated
- Assist with annual recertification interviews and follow up on outstanding items
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of one year of office experience, preferably in a busy receptionist role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills
- Experience handling a multi-line phone system
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Yardi software
- Background in property management or affordable housing
- Knowledge of compliance regulations within the housing sector
- Strong attention to detail
