What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound and outbound leads from the existing portfolio of clients
- Process completed mortgage applications for qualified clients
- Set proper expectations with clients from the start of the transaction
- Qualify clients for new mortgage loans using automated underwriting systems
- Deliver mortgage options to customers in a single call
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent military experience
- Must live within 75 miles of one of the employer's locations
- Minimum of 2 years of Loan Officer experience within a call center or phone sales environment
- Ability to obtain industry-required licensing and maintain all federal and state licensing requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in consultative sales or phone sales
- Strong customer service orientation and responsiveness to client issues
- Ability to type more than 40 words per minute
- Willingness to work shifts between 8:00 am-10:00 pm and rotational Saturdays
