      The expected base salary for this position ranges from $122,400 - $153,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations. In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.

      General Description of the Role

      The Luxury Account Activation Manager – RARE US, reports to the Senior Manager Channel & Customer Marketing – RARE US and takes the high-touch, luxury programs, tools & resources concepted and developed, and deploys them in the field. This role works closely with the RARE US sales, brand, PR and digital teams, in addition to the local Core teams, external agencies and marketing partners, to create powerful multi-channel synergy that delivers the greatest impact for the brands

      Mission/Objectives

      To build consumer and trade desire for the RARE portfolio in the US, positioning the brands as luxury icons in their categories and driving volume and value growth in the on and off premise accounts where we activate. The mission of this role within the RARE US division is squarely focused on championing luxury brand experience execution, tracking performance and implementing an improvement loop that benefits the entire Campari portfolio.

      Key Responsibilities and Activities

      Planning

      • Contribute to integrated annual planning for the RARE portfolio - leveraging knowledge on the target account base, what is within regulatory boundaries, what luxury competitors are doing, and what will resonate with consumers – to help shape the overall commercial activation plans for the brands.

      Activation Execution

      • Secure local luxury activation agencies to partner with the RARE US division, scope them, brief, educate and equip them with the necessary tools to support the Luxury Portfolio Managers in market.
      • Establish processes for the local Luxury Portfolio Managers to seamlessly follow to schedule activations, obtain tools, access to Education Concierge talent support etc.
      • Support / lead brand presentations where may be required as another brand representative in the field ie. a ‘closed-door’ range tasting for consumers in an on or off premise account.
      • Monitor program execution to ensure the high quality of execution is delivered, the desired impact with consumers and trade is achieved, and programs deliver targeted KPIs.
      • Conduct regular market visits to keep current on market trends, providing learnings to the team and optimizing our programs throughout.
      • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on the results of all key activations, ensuring transparency and compliance while driving ROI and a focus on continuous executional improvement.

      Sales Team Support

      • Have a strong partnership with the entire RARE US Luxury Portfolio Manager team, establishing this role as a day-to-day collaborator for their account activation needs.
      • Ensure the full US sales team have access to the brand assets, tools, POS and other assets that may be desired to grow the brands across the US, including customizing creative or other assets in a timely fashion if needed.
      • Support sales to custom create any selling tools that may be required to pitch programs to accounts or groups.
      • Work in collaboration with the Campari Core Field Activation & CCM Teams where efficiencies can be achieved with local agency support and practices.

      Budget & Performance Management

      • Manage program activation budgets in line with the agreed commercial plan.
      • Managing the PO and invoicing process for the activation budgets.
      • Utilize tracking and reporting tools to monitor activities, spends and correlate activities to sales returns.

      Essential Job Requirements:

      • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
      • Potential for some lifting of heavy objects (product or activation elements) and physical work at events
      • Occasional nights and weekends in the trade or at/hosting events
      • English language fluent

      Key Relationships

      Internal: Campari America (and RARE) Sales, Channel & Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Brand Ambassadors & RARE Education Concierges, Campari Academy, Legal, Finance & global brand and RARE teams, Master Distillers / Cellar Masters.

      External : Key trade members & customers / operators, wholesalers, agencies & marketing partners

      Experience Required

      • 3-5 years of experience in producing activations ideally in licensed on/off premise accounts
      • Experience in designing / concepting brand experiences of a luxury nature
      • Previous marketing and/or brand ambassadorial experience is a plus

      Education / Professional Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in business or arts related field
      • WSET or sommelier certified is a plus

      • A demonstrated capability driving the execution of in market activation plans
      • Excellent knowledge of on and off premise trade activation needs, opportunities and barriers
      • Strong understanding of the US 3 Tier system and experience in effectively influencing results in this highly regulated environment
      • Strong written and verbal presentation skills – a clear, engaging, powerful storyteller.
      • Excellent project management skills to deliver on time, within budget, at a high level of detail and achieving or exceeding goals.

      Technical

      • Strong planning and analytical skills, tied to a foundation of financial/business acumen.
      • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
      • Experienced in reading and analyzing sales/depletion/business performance reporting

      • Ability to be self-directed / driven; thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
      • Flexible to travel across the US, both to monitor or lead activations.
