- Lead a team of demand planners and monitor the daily operations of the demand planning function
- Continually balances workload bandwidth across demand planners to ensure flow and accuracy
- Provides direction to team using established policies and procedures
- Govern the development and upkeep of functional SOPs to ensure accuracy and relevancy
- Develop and lead new employee onboarding process
- Oversee the development of the item level forecast as part of the monthly planning cycle to ensure demand reasonability across portfolio (mix) for a rolling 18 months
- Manage parameters/inputs into forecast tool to drive item level accuracy
- Track key growth drivers and analyze performance (vs. Budget, Prior Year, Prior Cycle)
- Partner with Sales, Brand and Finance to develop accurate brand level demand plans
- Monitor performance against collaborative forecast assumptions and enforce adjustments as necessary
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Responsible for improved year on year forecast accuracy improvements
- Lead and/or participate in the Monthly S&OP meetings (weekly S&OE and monthly Demand & Supply Reviews)
- Partner with functional leaders to develop and lead implementation of continuous process improvements
- Accountable for timely completion of projects and impact of results
- Collaborate closely with supply planning partners to minimize cost and improve efficiency
- Drive the development and enhancement of demand planning process and tools
- Participate in evaluating new technologies to ensure the advancement of technology architecture and data within organizational Business Intelligence needs
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
- Development of scenario plans as required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel Required – up to 15%
- BA/BS with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, or other job-related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of Supply Chain experience with 3+ years of management experience
- APICS or IBF certification desired
- Consumer products industry and/or manufacturing support experience a plus
- Experience with S&OP Process Improvement
