What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive fundraising research to identify potential individual and institutional donors for KIPP Foundation
- Collaborate with frontline fundraising teams to align prospect research with fundraising goals
- Assist in preparing profiles, event bios, and briefs for fundraising events and meetings
- Track donor interactions and solicitations to measure fundraising progress
- Manage and oversee Development Operations projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3 years of full-time work experience in a related field, preferably in nonprofit fundraising and prospect research
- Experience with CRM systems for tracking and reporting purposes
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Commitment to uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in prospect research
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with standard biographical and financial reference sources and basic donor prospect research practices
- Experience working with high net-worth donor constituencies
- Curiosity about and ability to leverage AI for research and project advancement
