Summary
The Manager, Forms plays a critical role in shaping and maintaining the organization’s insurance policy forms across the full product portfolio. This position is responsible for ensuring all forms accurately reflect product intent, comply with regulatory requirements, and are implemented seamlessly within core systems.
Responsibilities
Forms Development & Governance
• Oversee the creation, review, and approval of policy forms, endorsements, and declarations for both new and existing products.
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment of all form language with underwriting standards and product design objectives.Regulatory Compliance
• Monitor evolving state and jurisdictional requirements related to insurance forms.
• Manage the full lifecycle of filings and approvals with Departments of Insurance.
• Ensure timely updates and revisions in response to regulatory or legislative changes.Vendor & Third‑Party Oversight
• Lead and manage relationships with third‑party forms specialists.
• Establish and uphold service‑level agreements (SLAs), quality benchmarks, and performance expectations.
• Review, validate, and approve deliverables from external partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Integration
• Partner closely with Product, Legal, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure all forms align with pricing strategies, coverage intent, and system requirements.
• Support the integration of forms into policy administration systems and verify accuracy through testing and issuance validation.Quality Assurance & Controls
• Develop and maintain strong version‑control processes and audit protocols for all forms.
• Conduct periodic quality reviews to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance tools, workflows, and operational efficiency.Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of experience in insurance forms management, product development, or regulatory complianceKey Competencies:
• Deep regulatory compliance knowledge
• Strong vendor‑management and negotiation skills
• Project management expertise with a focus on process improvement
• Familiarity with policy administration systems

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $98,000 - $118,000
