- Serve as a strategic HR partner to Entertainment leaders, providing thought leadership on people and organizational priorities in a rapidly evolving, high ‑ visibility function
- Advise on the people implications of business decisions related to content, partnerships, licensing, and cultural collaborations, ensuring change and transformation initiatives are executed effectively
- Strengthen employee engagement year over year by leveraging insights from continuous listening and implementing targeted strategies that support a creative, high ‑ performance culture
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; collaborate with leaders to design and implement solutions that support organizational health and long ‑ term growth
- Lead talent management and succession planning efforts to build strong bench strength across entertainment, content, and licensing capabilities
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to identify capability gaps and build a ready ‑ now talent pipeline for emerging entertainment ‑ focused roles
- Implement retention strategies that promote organizational stability and support a dynamic, innovative workforce
- Support teams working across multiple markets—including LA, NY, and SF—as we expand our presence within the entertainment ecosystem and accelerate our Fashiontainment vision
- Experience serving as an HR business partner or HR manager, advising senior leaders on organizational design and workforce planning, and the people implications of business decisions
- Proven ability to lead or support change management, transformation, and cultural evolution in fast ‑ paced, dynamic environments
- Strong capability in talent management, including performance management, succession planning, and building ready ‑ now pipelines in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing HR metrics, engagement insights, and organizational trends to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable solutions
- Exceptional relationship ‑ building and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively across creative, strategic, and matrixed teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment while balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution
About the Role
Gap Inc. is entering an exciting new chapter as we expand our presence at the intersection of fashion, entertainment, culture, and storytelling. With the creation of our Entertainment function, we are building and scaling a platform that spans music, television, film, sports, gaming, consumer products, and cultural collaborations. This function will anchor our Fashiontainment strategy and deepen how our brands show up in pop culture.
As the HR Manager supporting the Entertainment organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the people strategy for a fast‑moving, highly creative, and culturally connected team. You will partner closely with leaders driving content, licensing, partnerships, and experiences that elevate our brands and expand how we engage audiences globally. This role will support teams operating across Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco, as we establish our new LA hub and embed ourselves more deeply within the entertainment ecosystem.What You'll Do
