  The candidate will need to have a highly developed business acumen and an entrepreneurial mentality, spotting new revenue generating opportunities and be able to drive them from ideation through to rollout based on a data grounded approach .

  What You'll Do

  Aside from working only with tools and products currently available the candidate need s to work well cross functional ly with multiple teams across our organization for example with our revenue management – and product/ technology teams , to support new solutions to f uture proof Amex GBT for any new developments in the dynamic travel landscape such as NDC, Next Generation Storefront and channel management .

  Other tasks include:

  • I nfluence key stakeholders within Amex GBT and in partner organizations to drive change and results.

  • W ork ing with various teams to deploy strategies , track results and take corrective actions where necessary .

  • Set up tracking to gain insight in results and identify opportunities to further optimize .

  What We're Looking For

  • Commercial mindset and strong innovator, driver of change, balancing technology solutions v ersu s investment and revenue .

  • Strategic and structural thinker: able to create strategies based on an analytical, data driven mentality but also feels comfortable in driving that into hands on implementation.

  • A strong understanding of air and non-air content distribution, online retailing, channel management and travel economics would be a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing people at all levels of the organization or at partner organizations, setting common goals and deliver according to plans.

  • Feels comfortable utilizing Excel databases and doing analysis on data sets.

  • Ability to develop a quick understanding of new industry trends and technology developments / opportunities .

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), fluency in English & strong presentation skills .

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, able to man a ge multiple projects with different deliverables at the same time, has attention to detail and ability to deliver within deadlines and highlights deliverable issues and suggested solutions on time.
