  As a Strategic Sourcing Lead, you will consolidate fragmented sourcing responsibilities into a single strategic function, enabling better supplier leverage, cost optimization, and supply chain control across multiple European sites. This role is pivotal in driving supplier strategy, unlocking value through sourcing projects, and supporting sustainability and compliance goals across legacy Arxada businesses.

  Essential Job Functions

  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives for key and tail spend materials across European sites
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting for assigned categories
  • Manage strategic projects including supplier consolidation, cost optimization, and supply chain resilience
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, including onboarding and performance management
  • Drive sustainability initiatives such as supplier code of conduct, Ecovadis ratings, and compliance tracking
  • Assess supply base to identify risks and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals

  Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement/Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, or Business
  • Min. 5+ years of experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of category management and supply market trends.
  • Experience in regulated industries preferred
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with sustainability and compliance frameworks
