- The purchase or sale of an enterprise or business unit: what is an enterprise worth, what are the synergy benefits, and what is a sensible price?;
- Financial statement analysis (post-deal): performing and/or reviewing Purchase Price Allocations after closing the transaction and providing support with the annual impairment testing procedures;
- Valuations in a mergers and acquisitions setting;
- Drawing up and assessing of financial projections;
- Value creation analysis: why does an enterprise lag behind the competition and how can additional value be created?;
- ESG value impact analysis: what are the risks and value creation opportunities related to ESG topics?;
- Construction of M&A and valuation models for clients which they will use to make decisions and continue monitoring the performance of a business after a transaction;
- Valuations required for disputes between parties, for example as a result of an arbitration or litigation;
- Tax structuring: through value determination and modelling, providing insights into the financial impact of various tax decisions. ·
- You have a master degree in (Business) Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics, (Industrial) Engineering, Actuarial Studies or a technical study. If you have a degree in another discipline and have an affinity with the field described above, we also encourage you to apply for this position;
- You have at least 5 years of working experience within the valuations or corporate finance / deals environment, either in a Big 4, valuation boutique or Corporate Development team;
- Valuations knowledge and experience with financial modelling;
- You have good English language skills, knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.

Job Description & Summary
Manager Valuations
As a Manager within the Valuations team, you will provide our clients in a wide range of industries advice that enables them to make better decisions in or outside a deal context. For example, performing valuations for clients that are buying or selling a business, helping companies in strategic decision-making, supporting the client in optimising the value potential of their business and post-deal services such as Purchase Price Allocations (PPA) and impairment tests.
What does your work look like?
You value companies in pre deal situations, or other settings requiring important decision making, for accounting purposes (such as PPA, impairment test) or in a legal or tax context, for example an internal reorganization. Furthermore, you will work on business modelling. You will work together with many other disciplines within the deal cycle, such as: M&A strategy, due diligence, corporate finance and carve out or integration. Our clients range from large multinationals to mid range clients. Our team has several industry teams.
In your role as a manager you will take a lead in daily management of the project and you contribute to business development and coaching junior team members on the engagement. You will also be leading client conversations during engagements.

This means that you will often be working on assignments with colleagues from other PwC divisions and colleagues from other countries.
