      Accountabilities:
      As the Market Business Partner, you will oversee planning processes for the Americas markets of Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. You will foster meaningful connections and collaborative partnerships with market partners and the GME solutions and operations teams to drive innovation, address customer needs, and improve engagement outcomes. You will build these key relationships to build an in-depth understanding of priorities, gaining early insight into changing market needs to ensure partners gain appropriate value from GME services, capabilities, and innovation. You will understand and provide insights to the performance as well as implementation of simplification and standardization projects to ensure quality outputs of the Global Meetings and Events process. This role will require you to coordinate with various teams to efficiently understand the market’s specific needs, provide strategic direction and translate it into actionable plans. You will serve as the primary liaison between the Americas markets and the GME operations team, fostering seamless communication and collaboration. In addition, you will be responsible for performance reporting, analytics, training, and presentation content for each market.

      Other duties may include: End-to-end accountability to plan and execute internal and external meetings (face-to-face/virtual/hybrid) by working in collaboration with the business meeting owner and external partners for all aspects of a meeting, including site recommendations, production supplier recommendations, contract negotiations, budgets, catering, creation and ownership of project plan, attendee management, travel arrangements, event agenda and on-site support.

      Essential Skills/Experience:
      • Proven ability to act independently and be resourceful in your approach to problem solving
      • Strong communications, negotiation and influencing skills; ability to lead to desired outcomes
      • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
      • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including oral & written
      • Demonstrable knowledge of global and corporate business context
      • Problem solving approach
      • Experience in the Meetings and Events Industry
      • Experience using Cvent or similar
      • Have a compliance mind-set with strong focus on adherence to industry guidelines, company, and market policies.
      • Fluent in English
      • Ability to travel internationally by airplane, boat, rail, and/or car, when required 5%

      Desirable Skills/Experience:
      • Cross-functional, Matrix organizational experience
      • Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry
      • Experience in training or change management
      • Experience in project management, strategic planning processes and tools, change management, or training
      • Conversational in Portuguese, not required but preferred
