What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide personalized support to Medi-Share members throughout their maternity journey
- Identify and resolve critical maternal and infant issues with urgency and accuracy
- Educate members on Medi-Share maternity provisions and available resources
- Collaborate with the Cost Management Program Specialist to promote cost-saving options for members
- Document case work and ensure compliance with service level agreements and organizational policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of an associate degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience
- At least 3 years of medical billing or administrative experience in a medical office or facility
- Strong communication skills in written, oral, and digital formats
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to comply with HIPAA and PHI regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in obstetrics or maternity care
- Certificate-level education in medical billing or medical terminology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Experience in healthcare customer service practices
