What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs
- Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain accurate medical records
- Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and sterilize medical equipment
- Inventory and order medical supplies as needed
- Interview patients to obtain medical history and record information in patient files
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 12 months of experience in a medical assistant role
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an approved organization
- Must be certified through one of the recognized certifying bodies
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work as a team player
