What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting, including loan files and credit reports
- Act as the primary contact between clients and the company, scheduling and conducting meetings to address follow-up issues
- Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries to ensure superior customer service
- Review loan package documentation for discrepancies and income calculations, reporting any issues to the loan originator
- Assist mortgage loan origination officers with pre-approving loan files and program placement

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a professional office environment, preferably as an administrative or mortgage assistant
- Understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, and adjustable/fixed loans
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills in a team-oriented environment
- Computer proficiency required, including MS Office; familiarity with CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- NMLS license or training
- College degree in finance or banking
