Own the Best Buy channel strategy and business plan, including quarterly and annual revenue and household forecasts.
Manage the account across all elements of the business to unlock growth opportunities, mitigate business risks, and deliver Sonos favorable outcomes.
Lead and coordinate internal retail account teams including deep collaboration with business operations, fulfillment, finance, accounting, and retail marketing.
Build high quality account plans and execute with precision and impact.
Conduct ongoing analysis and weekly reporting of key account business performance, market trends, and share performance to inform short and long term adjustments to forecast.
Coordinate strategic intersections between Best Buy and Sonos to ensure both partners are consistently exceeding business and growth objectives.
Represent Sonos and engage in important Best Buy events ranging for trade-shows, training programs, and charity events.
You’ll be an active member of a wider Americas retail team, collaborating with a team of account managers to share synergies, best practices, sharpen one another’s thinking, and contribute to a high performing team and culture.
10+ years of experience in customer facing retail roles and account management
US based and able to travel throughout the US
Bachelor’s degree
Advanced verbal and written communication skills to influence internally
Comfortable and effective presenting to large groups internally and externally
Highly analytical and able to pull clear and actionable insights out of complex data
Highly organized, ability to stay focused on top priorities
Highly collaborative to develop productive working relationships with a wide range of functions
Strategic mindset - including the ability to execute a vision
Strong business acumen - adept and developing and managing partner terms

Sonos is looking to hire a national account manager to lead and rapidly accelerate our Best Buy business. Best Buy is amongst our most dynamic accounts, playing multiple important roles to our customer along the path to purchase both in-store and online. Their strategic importance and market share in consumer electronics stemming from fierce customer loyalty make them a vital component of delivering on our mission and long term growth objectives.
The national account manager is responsible for setting the Best Buy channel strategy including the high impact programs and investments to deliver sustainable profitable growth for us and the category. This individual will be the central leader of the channel, and coordinate activities and execution with cross functional support to ensure business objectives are delivered with precision on a quarterly and annual basis.
This job can be done remotely, but given the amount of time spent in front of the customer, Minneapolis is preferred.

All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity. Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions. The starting base pay for this role for all US candidates is between:
$147,000 and $163,500Please note that compensation details listed in US job postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
