      Description

      ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

      The national account manager is a senior sales position responsible for managing high-profile and complex customers. They prioritize customer satisfaction, promote new products and services, set targets, and ensure healthy relationships between the company and customers.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      · Gain insight into customers' business including internal corporate initiatives, their market outlook, their customer profile, new projects, etc.

      · Establishes and maintains account relationships while achieving personal sales targets

      · Develops a quarterly business plan to achieve sales targets

      · Develop strong client relationships over time that provide significant input to planning company product, price, and service strategies

      · Supports supervisor and other sales professionals in developing new market opportunities with customers

      · Ensures that sales commitments made by customers are consistent with overall supply agreements reached by upper management

      · Assist in the development of new and existing suppliers where necessary.

      · Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date information in the company CRM.

      · Participate in supplier product training as well as internal training programs relative to the position.

      · Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and other details in order to close deals.

      · Assist in the development of team and individual objectives and KPIs

      · Develop sales proposals when necessary to communicate opportunities to both internal and external stakeholders.

      · Develop, maintain, and improve client relationships across a large territory.

      · Meet with customers to discuss their needs and how to meet them better as well as provide them with new products or services to try out.

      · Understand and manage all needs and requirements of the customer

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

      · Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience, in business, sales, or a similar field

      · 5+ years experience in a sales field, ideally in a product, or market related to the position selling magnet wire and/or electrical insulating materials.

      · Knowledge of the industrial electrical market or adjacent industry

      · Overnight Travel up to 50% of the time

      · Knowledge in the use of CRMs

      SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

      · Excellent communication skills

      · Must be flexible and maintain contacts

      · Work well within a matrix organization

      · Skill in negotiating, team building, and collaborative problem-solving

      · Willingness to work within a team
